Tully silver D whistle. Click on the picture for a more detailed picture appropriately on a world map. Erick Tullburg made it for me when he lived in Germany. I sold it to a fellow in United Kingdom and then bought it back. So it crossed the Atlantic three times. I keep it in a clear acrylic showcase when I don't have it out to polish or play. |

This is a "tabor" pipe in G from maple stained cherry with the mouthpiece from Brazillian cherry. I followed the traditional look, but added the tuning slide. You can see a little of the drum that is to be played with it. Go to the Re-instruments page item 20 for details. |

| Tom Wilson sent me
a piece of juniper from Wyoming he had cut and cured. It made this Bb. It had a wonderful purple heart that shows up in the fipple plug. And just under the bark which shows on top of the mouthpiece. The whole surface of the whistle I gave a "whittled" look which you can see somewhat. |

I made two mouthpieces from Brazillian cherry and put one on an American cherry low G barrel and one on a silver maple low G. The cherry came from an antique wooden level that was beyond restoring. The maple tree grew in western Colorado. Details one two three |

A "Choir" of whistles. They are Whitecaps before the Whitecap was announced. I couldn't go to Tom's Christmas party so I sent these. Each is on a tube that is one note of the chromatic C scale. They were passed out and played like a bell choir directed by Tom Wilson who teaches music. Every one got one or two to take with them to put on their own 1/2" whistle barrels. |

I had a bit of a time reprieve from whistles so I made a Banjo Mandolin.I guess it's a "he" because I call him "Manjo". Click on this link to go to Gary's web site and look on the upper right of the page (under Video Clips) to view a video of Danny Agajanian playing "Manjo" http://www.silbealabanza.com/
